Initial contact includes scheduling an appointment and a 10-minute intake discussion of the specific needs and concerns to be addressed during the consultation.

Q: How do I make an appointment for a consultation (coaching session)?
A: Email Melody at melody@awakenedheartparenting.com or telephone Melody at 310-798-0131 to schedule an appointment.

Q: How long are the coaching sessions?
A: Typical sessions are 1 to 2 hours.

Q: How many sessions do parents typically schedule?
A: The number of sessions varies depending on the needs of the individual. Clients schedule as few as one to two sessions, or, in some cases, clients enjoy the ongoing support of regular sessions (weekly, monthly, etc.).

Q: What are the fees for individual consulting?
A: Consultations are $125 per hour and $25 for each additional 15 minutes.

Q: How are payments made? Do you accept credit cards?
A: Telephone consultations are paid in advance by check or money order. Payments through PayPal will be available in the future. In-person consultatoins can be paid by either cash or check only at the time of the consultation. Please note: full fee will be charged for cancellations made with less than 24 hour's notice.

Q: Do your consultations with parents focus on children of a specific age group?
A: Melody works with parents of children from birth through adolescence.

Q: Do you ever meet with children?
A: With the exception of a parent requesting an observation for the purpose of determining the need for a child to be assessed, Melody meets with parents only.
